The dating experience has been incrementally difficult while we are all stuck in our houses because of COVID-19. We wanted to introduce a sense of real closeness amongst our users by introducing a trivia-based dating app. Inspired by New York Time's article, 36 questions to fall in love, the idea is that mutual vulnerability fosters closeness. Vino is an online trivia-based dating application where each user anonymously paired with another user. Each user then answers trivia questions and also answer their assumptions about other person's choices. Based on the answers by each user the algorithm decides if they are a match or not. My role in the project was the develop the front-end using React.js and implementing a React router to dynamically load trivia questions.
